2025 Sanders Scholarship WEBINAR!
Every year for the past five years, Core Academy of Science has matched students with faculty mentors through the Sanders Scholarship Program. With a financial award worth as much as $4,000, each student works on a scholarly project with their mentor. It’s a great opportunity for students to learn firsthand the inner workings of exploring God’s creation.
This year, we’re hosting a special webinar to explain the Sanders Scholarship program to prospective students and mentors. Core Academy president Todd Wood will discuss how to compose an application but more importantly what makes a good project proposal. If you’ve ever wondered about the program, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more and get your questions asked. This informational webinar will be held on Monday, August 26, at 7 pm EASTERN time, and it’s completely free to participate. You can sign up for the webinar right here (if you don’t see a sign-up form, click this link):
Core Academy of Science is also pleased to announce applications for the 2025 Sanders Scholarship program are now open. Core Academy will award at least one $4,000 scholarship in December for use in the 2025 calendar year. Undergraduate or graduate students who want first-hand training with an established mentor should consider applying for these scholarships.
Core Academy of Science established the Sanders Scholarship Fund in 2018 to support scientific mentoring of a new generation of creation scholars. The Fund was named in honor of Roger W. Sanders, the co-founder of Core Academy who passed away in 2018. To learn more and download the application guide, please check out the Sanders Scholarship website.
