Reviewing 2024: Creation Retreats

Welcome to our year in review!  In this series of brief articles, we’re covering our major ministry activities for 2024, starting with our TWO creation retreats!

Our spring creation retreat sold out again this year as we welcomed Jackson Gravitt, Bryan College instructor of Christian Studies.  Jackson led us on a fascinating exploration of the doctrine of creation through the history of the church.  Students from Liberty University, Truett McConnell University, Bryan College, and Patrick Henry College all gathered for this amazing weekend of encouraging creation theology!

In September, we hosted our first fall creation retreat, as Dr. Wood led our discussion of fossils and the image of God near Dandridge, TN.  Students mostly from Southern Adventist University spent the weekend examining fossil skeletons and discussing their meaning in the world of biblical creation.  After such a fantastic weekend, we hope this ministry will expand in the future!
