March 22-24, 2019, Keezletown, VA
The Shenandoah Valley is calling! Our creation retreats allow students and scholars to connect as we wrestle with the hardest questions in a safe and supportive space. Come on out and spend a weekend in the Valley thinking carefully about the our lifelong quest to understand God and His creation.
Our special guest for the 2019 creation retreat is Hans Madueme of Covenant College. Dr. Madueme is a Bible scholar with a special interest in the theology of the Fall. He will lead our discussions as we consider the the origin of death and how that relates to the Fall of Adam.
There are also gift bags with free goodies. Last year’s gift bags included free books related to the theme. You’ll have to come find out what this year’s goodies will be.
Typical Schedule
Friday night: Arrival, dinner, Welcome Session. Saturday: breakfast, Morning Session, Lunch, free time, Dinner, Last Session. Sunday: breakfast, cleanup, departure. Each Session will consist of a combination of presentation and discussion.
All of our retreats are informal. Questions can be asked at any time and discussion is encouraged. Professors, please bring your brightest students. This is the perfect place to ask the hardest questions.
Tickets are now available. The standard ticket includes five meals (dinner Friday through breakfast Sunday), housing for two nights in a shared bedroom, and gift bag. The private room ticket guarantees a private room and is ideal for couples attending together. Since this retreat is at a Christian camp, linens are not provided.
